I get the impression that if I was there I'd probably want to get down into the canyon a bit so that I could get a mixture of buttes and peaks along with some foreground stuff like vegetation. Having said that, #1 gives a good sense of place. It looks like it's the sort of place that needs a sequence to do it justice.

I like these! I don't know what "work" you are planning, but as a dedicated minimal post processor, I wouldn't do a lot! I think they are fine, as is.
