Summer in San Francisco.
At least it isn't 115°

Warming up a bit and a lot of clouds due to hurricane Hillary. Not any rain, but that is summer in SF

I currently live in Placerville but drive into the City to visit my daughter. I used to live in the Bay Area, and I've enjoyed San Francisco for over 40 years. Contrary to rumors, it's not dead. It's just going through some adjustments. Tuesday was one of those picture post card kind of days, and we spent some time at the Presidio, just relaxing in the breeze. Yes, it has been a nice summer overall, even up here in the foothills. We have had some short heat waves up here, but I can remember much worse.

It has been a nice summer. But it is starting to warm up now. This is the time that it usually gets warm.
But summers here are nice summers. I have a friend that says that he can't wait to stop bitching about the cold and bitching about the heat. He will have a few weeks of that soon enough.
It may not be dead, but it certainly has some pains to get over. The financial district is way down, and a lot of stores are moving out. A lot of people say it is because of crime, and that is a big problem. But a lot of it is that there is no foot traffic and the stores just can't make it anymore. Everything is going towards the internet, and stores are feeling that.
But SF has been here for a long time, and it will be her for a long time. We just need some good government and sone good leaders. And those seem to be in short supply.
Just curiosity, where were you when this shot was taken? I kind of know the city since I drove a Fed Ex tractor trailer throughout the city for awhile. Ironically I have seen the temperature in SF drop 20 degrees in just a few minutes when the fog rolls in. It always amazes me when I see delivery persons all bundles up on top but still wearing shorts.
One nice thing is that the warmer it gets the less clothes the pretty girls wear.

Going out towards Fort Point. The fog was really thick and you couldn't see anything, so coming back I stopped along the road where you could see a bit of the beach, and the city was not completely covered. It is unusual to see the grass in the foreground, but it was somewhere near Crissy Field.
I agree, that is one benefit of the hot weather.
