I took the path to the other side of Silver Lake. My first photo was into the sun as it cleared the eastern mountains. The other shots are from various places on the lake bank or path as I returned to the parking lot.

Comments and suggestions are welcome.

Thanks, Howard. I had my 14mm Sony f/18 lens on my Sony a7riii body, Since I was shooting into the sun, I set it at f/16 (my lowest possible setting) at 1/125, ISO 200. I had to do extensive post-processing to bring out the other side of the lake and tone down the sun burst.
