This set will make much more sense if you start at the first post ... "Hoghno Khan: Mongolian Goat Ranchers 1"
I don't know why, but so many of the Mongolian children we encountered had such sad expressions. Then they would say someting silly and burst into laughter. Then they would look sad again. But they really weren't miserable at all.
Here she is telling a Rodney Dangerfield joke. Really though. It doesn't look it here, but she was a happy, playful little girl.
Here's Delgermaa, the kids' Mom.
I like goat cheese, but I didn't enjoy their milk.
It's harder to see on a grown woman because her face has become weather worn, but Delgermaa has polycythemia as well.
Udder nonsense!!
When Anu wants a fresh glass of milk, she goes right to the source. Too bad there's no known animal from which she could get cupcakes.
And Enkhjargal does the same as her big sister. It was obvious to us when we were there that the girls were very close.
One goat was eating a book and the other one said, "How does that taste?" The first replied, "I liked the film better."

They were. The kids were very sweet, as were the parents.
