Despite initial cloud cover the past two nights, I was lucky to capture this meteor trail shortly after 3 AM the morning of August 12. The bright apparent "star" just below the meteor trail is actually Jupiter in the eastern sky.

This one is truly a capture. It's also one that you don't necessarily have to be good, but more important that you be there (at 3 AM). I love astronomy but I'm just not motivated enough to be there at 3 AM to get images like this one. Good job.
