This is the last of four posts. I hope you began this journey by starting at "The Towers of Kuala Lumpur 1" and working your way through in order up to this one.
This was the shopping/restaurant street that sat right behind our modern hotel. It was from here that I took that photo in the first of these four posts of the Petronas Towers through the balloons.
Very busy little street. Very good food. The locals come from all over the city to eat here. We didn't plan this, but we considered ourselves to be very lucky that our hotel was so close by.
There's the KL Tower in the distance. It was from there that I took the first overall views I posted in this set.
As with the Petronas Towers, you can see the KL Towers from virtually everywhere in the city. They also happen to be not all that far from each other. And yes. We did go to the top in both.
This is a vertical pan taken from almost right beneath the KL Tower. It was the only way I could get the whole thing in one frame.
The Petronas Twin towers and the Kuala Lumpur Tower, the two iconic structures of this interesting capital city of Malaysia.

Another interesting set Mel.
I appreciate that, Brian.
Interesting contrast between the street scenes and the towering buildings, Mel.
Great set of KL photos, including the shopping and Chinatown, thank you for posting them!
Is Petaling St shown? Great place for street evening dining, straight out of a Humphrey Bogart movie. I have only been there late in the evening, so I might not have recognised it.
The photos also show the Kuala Lumpur smog, almost thick enough to cut with a butter knife.

Thank you, Elias. Glad to have someone else who has been there and experienced the city's flavor. And yes. Petaling Street is the last photo in Post 3.

Another great adventure Mel!
