Robbie Robertson

Noted that Robbie Robertson passed yesterday at age 80. Guitarist, lead singer of "The Band" from those iconic '60's & '70's. As a tribute, just watched "Playing for Change" version of "The Weight" on Youtube. Suggest those from that era do the same; so brilliantly arranged, filmed, and produced by his son, Sebastian. (The Jamaican part was filmed in front of Bob Marley's childhood home.)

Thank you for this post. I have never heard anything from "Playing for Change" that I didn't like.

THAT version deserves to be released as a single itself. AWESOME rendition!

Thankfully, Keith Richards will be around for a hundred years more...at least.

ROTFFLMAO!

He and Mick look like a couple of dancing skeletons now... But they can still rock.

What a Great, great video! Thanks. One of my favorite songs. Loved the players from around the world.
Music is truly universal. Superb group of musicians........they're all over the place if we can only hear them.
