This is a transcript of an interesting chat I had with the AI chatGPT last night. It’s a bit lengthy, but it IS interesting! – and was fun to do!
Loren – in Beautiful Baguio City
I should have added a reference to Harvey Jackins, “The Human Side of Human Beings” and “Re-evaluation Counseling” (Co-counseling). A very interesting book, and concept, though in other areas I have major disagreements with him!!!

I found it interesting that Chat GP's answers were all completely dispassionate and evidence based yet your reactions to them seemed mistrusting. I know that you weren't being mistrusting, simply trying to catch it in something akin to an AI lie. So far, it seems incapable of that. It can mimic a lie in a photo or with a voice when commanded to do so, but it can not take credit (or blame) for what is is commanded to do. But at some point, it may be able correlate enough points of data to make those choices on it's own. That's when it will become the nightmare we envision. Isaac Asimov envisioned something of that sort in his short story, The Last Question. And James Cameron was, I think, possibly more accurate in Terminator. But not to worry, we can always kick the extension cord out of the wall socket.
Sounds like a conversation one would have with Spock or Data.
