Like a couple others here, I have had shrimp and grits I loved and some I couldn't stand. Your look the way shrimp and grits should look. I had some that were soupy and floating in grease. Whew.
I tried shrimp and grits at a restaurant on Hilton Head, and they were terrible.
Jaymat, grits are not easy to cook. My are always very cheesy, always used 3/1, three parts of half &half and one part of grits. Low temp and covered and stir.
