Battling terns while nesting

A recent trip to Iceland put me at a tern nesting area.. they are very aggressive birds and they will dive bomb anything nearby... and naturally the puffins were also nesting. Great birding location.

Thanks all. Great place to take photos, especially in summer when the sun come up at 3:30 and doesn't set until 11:30! Loooong days.

Spectacular
The terns seem to take turns battling while the puffin just sits there puffin' up
