Evening grosbeaks

Up until recently, I'd only seen an evening grosbeak on one occasion, in poor light, about 5 years ago. Then some friends mentioned that they had them often in their back yard, and invited me to pop over for some photos. Well, who am I to turn down an invite like that? LOL! Here are a couple of photos... first is the female (ladies first, ya know...) and then the male...
