I have seen reviews online videos/photos and looks to be an awesome drone!! And at $1549.00 for Air 3 With Fly More Combo with RC2 remote controller. Thanks BE SAFE!!

It is a great drone. Would this be your first aerial camera?

I have had the Mini 2 for about 2 years and more recently the Mini 3 Pro. The Air 3 is a lot like the Mini 3 Pro but has an extra lens/camera and is heavier. The weight puts it into a different FAA registration class.

You need to add $189 for the 2 year DJI Care Refresh Program.

You will find you need at least a third battery. There is a reason that DJI charging hubs have room for three! $159

As a photographer/videographer you will need a ND filter kit. If varies by brand, but about $100.

Don't leave out a pair of 128 GB Micro SD cards. (One for the controller and one for the drone) $50

If you decide to operate it legally to FAA standards, you need about another $350 for a "Part 107" course and test.

So the "real" price is closer to about $2850.

Hi. Yes I am aware of all the other cost. I already have 2-256GB Extreme micro SDXC cards and 1-64GB Extreme micro SDXC card with adapters. I am glad you did post, a lot of people might not be aware of the added cost. I wasn't until I decided that I was going to go all in and do it. I am sure we will be talking more especially after I purchase my drone. Thanks and BE SAFE!!

Tom,

Before you spend your money, please consider reviewing the FAA's rules about drones and airspace. They are complex. My experience suggests that many, maybe most, drone owners don't like the rules and ignore them. Some find the rules so irritating that they never get their drone off the shelf.

Yes I am aware of all rules and intend to adhere to them. Yes there are many law breakers out there. Seems that is where this country is headed. Thanks BE SAFE!!

I think I was going to offer that my feeling (!) is that there are not so many bad "law breaker" people. Instead, it is that the FAA has not got this right. It is too hard for most people. The FAA has made a mess of drone regulation.
