I Photographed this swan family last year at the Herring run. The female (I think) was patrolling the shore (where I was photographing) while the male taught the baby some life skills.

Cool set. I especially like the last one. That cygnet is as safe as it will ever be. No predator would willingly tangle with an angry Swan.
