Well I got invited to tag along with my daughter and 15 year old granddaughter to this event, Saturday in Tombstone. Sophia wanted to meet the people/actors behind the scenes of the video game she is involved in. She and hundreds of other fans dressed up in outfits that were mostly western themed. We started the fun watching the reenactment of the famous Shootout at The OK Corral. Keep in mind it was right at 100° for most of the day. From 11:30 until 5:00pm we stood in line to meet the actors and get their autographs. There were police and firefighters passing out water and towels soaked in ice water to help with the heat. After 5 hours in line we reached to within 20 feet of the door when the heat finally took it toll on my granddaughter and she finally said, no more. We made a hasty retreat back to the car and left with a very disappointed young lady. They drove from Colorado just for this event. Enough of the whining, here are a few shots of the day.
A fun set and a lovely granddaughter!
What a great series, thanks for sharing

Yes, it was a long drive from Colorado and back for them. Fortunately I only had to get back to Casa Grande.
A good time was had by all right up till the decision to cancel. However her health is way more important than this event.
All us adults were questioning our sanity at the time. It's sometimes hard to make the right choices, but she did good. Thanks.
