Solar Imaging - Hydrogen Alpha, Part 2: 5x PowerMate

Another nice morning.

I shot Hydrogen Alpha with no PowerMate and 2.5x and 5x PowerMates This post is the 5x PM portion.

Equipment: Lunt 60 solar scope, QHY 462C camera & iOptron CEM 26 mount.

Shot 1000 frames of video per region and extracted the best frame using AutoStakkert. Postprocessing in AutopanoGiga/Lightroom/Photoshop.

I particularly like the prominence (last image).

Great imaging, Brian!

That prominence explains why we came away from the AYSO Nationals so scorched. It was a week of furnace tempering for everybody there. Can you insert an Earth into the image?

It is excellent to look into the eye of that big Sunspot.
