My name is Vicky and I am an amateur photographer and my favorite place to photograph is Yosemite. Unfortunately I don't live in Cali anymore so access isn't as easy. I started "playing around" with photography in 1972 in B&W exclusively because I had access to a B&W darkroom. Combine that with Yosemite and you come up with Ansel Adams of course. Thank you for having me. There are times I have questions and no one to ask them of except Google. Thanks for having me.

Fear not Vicky...First, welcome to UHH. Now, I too started with B/W back in the Ollllld days, LOL. (The 50"s.) That is all I could afford at that time. Yes, I too know about Ansel and his zone system of photography. (Ask me about it today, and I couldn't even hope to explain it!)
Of course you will have questions, many of them...Rest assured, that most of us will have an answer for you. As the saying goes: "The stupidest question is the one not asked!" Some of the answers to your questions will probably be funny, that is part of the game, but most will give you different ways to solve the same problem. You can also PM someone to ask questions, that is up to you. But in any event, you are here and I hope it will be a fun experience for you...Rich
