Sorry to hear about your corrupted disc. I know how you feel. I had a new MRI on 7/20/23, then had an appt to see my Spine Surgeon on the 27th. I have 5 discs that are real bad, 2 are bulging and I have pinched sciatic nerves on both legs starting at the buttocks and down the back of both legs, the worst being on the left. He has me scheduled for surgery on Sept 6 to have some bone removed at L3-L4 and L4-L5 in order to do "spinal decompression" in order to give those nerves more room in the spinal canal and hopefully to relieve this pain that I have been living with for the last 2 1/2 years. I have been getting about 3 hours sleep every night, and I can't stand this anymore, even though he has me pretty worried after showing me the MRI pictures and the things that could happen during surgery, and informing me what I won't be able to do for 3 to 6 months while I have recovery. Can't run the vacuum, should not bend over, don't empty the dishwasher or take clothes out of the washing machine, and don't drive until the Surgeon says so, and a bunch of other regular things. I'm going to have trouble teaching my Persian Cat how to do these things, because all she likes to do is sit on my lap and watch tv or nap. Hope you have better luck Mike.

I know how you feel, Mike. I am amazed that you can take the long walks you take. I just can't do it anymore because of the same issues.

Sorry Mike, thought you had a bad back like me, but I'm glad for you that you don't have a bad back. You were wondering what the heck I was talking about. I was wondering what kind of problem you had with your spine that was called "corrupted disc". Good luck with the computer.
