This was taken two years ago with the Sony A9II and 100-400 lens. Found some unprocessed files on one of my drives. Processed it today.

I think it is as good as my A1 images.

No doubt a very nice image that both the a9 and a9 II sensor can provide. But IMO the 50+ MP sensor of the A1, when you look closely, will out perform the a9 and a9II sensor. Plus, the a1, with the higher frame rate, better AF capabilities (and other features) will outperform its predecessors. I have to tell myself that to maintain the justification of getting the A1. 😏

Yes there are differences...although my point is it's doable for much less money, which you can't deny.

agreed. no question both the a9 and a9 i are wonderful pieces of equipment.
