Canon 1DX3, Canon 8-15mm fisheye set at 8mm
I like the fisheye lens but most pictures I take with it aren't very interesting. Although I do like these.
Can anyone tell me what caused the blue stripe around the edges?

Why do you like the lens if you can't get photos you like from it??
No idea concerning the blue line.

The blue line is,common to all the circular fisheyes that I have seen, and other lenses at the edge of their image circle. I'm not sure what exactly causes it optically.
Given that the light at the edge of the photo has a refraction angle of nearly ninety degrees, it is highly likely that the blue line is, as previously noted, chromatic aberration. Short wavelength light (the blue end of the visible spectrum) is more strongly refracted than longer wavelengths. The longer wavelengths are not refracted far enough to be recorded -- leaving only the blue end of the spectrum.
