A friends husband built this cute little picnic table for the squirrels.

Cute, Sam! My experience with squirrels eating did not involve a special place for them.

I personally would not encourage the little varmints.

It’s cute. But where is the BBQ and the ice cold beers?

Agreed. There are nothing but rats with a better wardrobe.

A friend of mine had them get into his attic and really do a lot of damage before he discovered it. They chewed wires, AC ducts, and more. The damage took a lot of work and dollars to fix. It could have been much worse had he not found it as there were several exposed electrical wires. He discovered it because they had also chewed through some of the cables for his TV and internet.

He now has a "No Squirrel" zone around his house. He now does everything he can to discourage them from coming into his yard or near his home.

Agreed. Ours don't need any encouragement to chow down on the bird food.

Entertaining video about how “resourceful” squirrels are about their food! Enjoy

Great idea. I'm sure the birds will like it, too.
