Nice portraits! As kids we made pets from box turtles we found in the wild. I’ve helped a few avoid annihilation by helping them across the road.

Thank you, Stan. Terrestrial turtles tend to cross roads during their travels, and being slow, are especially more prone to accidents. They often need the kind of rescuing you have engaged in. 👍
