Nikon 28-300 f3.5-5.6 G, ED, VR, AF-S. FX lens.

I have for sale a Nikon 28-300 f3-5-5.6 VR that belongs to my retired ophthalmologist. He has two of them and is selling this one because he just bought a Z8 with a 24-200 Z lens and now he has no need for two zooms of the same focal lengths.
Prior to buying the Z8 he had two D750, each fitted with the 28-300. He sold one of the D750 and is now selling this lens.
The lens is in excellent condition, no visible signs of use, and all functions working like they should. Glass is clean and free of defects. No interior dust. I rate it a conservative 9 of 10. Useless to say this is a genuine US import. Filter size 77 mm.
Because it covers the 24mm focal length at its shortest focal length and 300 at the other length it is a very versatile and an excellent lens for traveling or as a walk around with a full frame camera. With a cropped sensor the tele reach is longer but then and due to the "digital factor" 24mm will cover 36mm so ideally the lens will shine with a full frame camera.
The images I have seen made with this lens are of excellent quality. Last year he visited Africa and used this lens in addition to a 600mm f4. The pictures were beautiful but look by yourself. His website: www.daledavisphotography.com.
