Playing around with a Sony A55 a friend gave me in a patch of Blackeye Susans I caught this little scene. The background of the original image was a bit bleak looking so I layered another shot of the patch of flowers and used Overlay blending to add some muted background interest. This is a handheld shot with stabilization and auto focus but I still managed to get a bit of softness. But I think it still looks OK at normal viewing distance.

Thank you Don. I just used Google to find out the little critter is a Green Lynx spider. Native to Jamaica. Probably got to Middle Tennessee in a batch of bananas.
