Well, is what DeSantis said true?

So you do think that b****s are too stupid to have benefited from this? As I asked before to somebody else, is what DeSantis said, true or false?

Why won’t you provide a link? Laziness
Nevermind. I found the left is telling a partial t***h but it doesn’t matter. He put his foot in it bigtime.
Funny how you people want to rewrite history to suit yourselves but get angry when he right wants to do the same thing
Pure hypocrisy

DeSantis actually said “some” b****s benefited from s***ery. But did you take the time and put it in context to explain what DeSantis meant by it? For some reason, you people on the far left think that b****s are too stupid to benefit from this, come on, you guys even think that b***k A******ns are too stupid to get IDs. You also think that b***k A******ns are too stupid to do things on their own and that’s why you people on the left support affirmative action. You people on the left think that b***k A******ns need the help of w***e A******ns to succeed in life.
Here is something else that’s interesting, that was written over a decade ago.
Did b****s benefit from s***ery?
“The matter could have been left there, but I volunteered that today’s American b****s have benefited enormously from the horrible suffering of our ancestors. Why? I said the standard of living and personal liberty of b***k A******ns are better than what b****s living anywhere in Africa have. I then asked the professor what it was that explained how tens of millions of b****s came to be born in the U.S. instead of Africa. He wouldn’t answer, but an answer other than s***ery would have been sheer idiocy. I attempted to assuage the professor’s and his colleagues’ shock by explaining to them that to morally condemn a practice such as s***ery does not require one to also deny its effects.“

They benefitted from s***ery by being kept alive to do the "master's bidding" so the master trained them in what sk**l was needed and then fed, clothed and housed them to get utility of the sk**ls. What could be wrong with that? Individual Liberty was not part of that "deal". Are Americans against individual freedom for all now?

Just what if the s***es were not brought over here. All the " African Americans " that are here would be living " Large " in any one of the third world countries that thrive so well these days in Africa . Pick which ever country you Iike best. If Africa is so good they should go there and reconnect with their roots.

Firstly, I would never attempt to justify any form of s***ery. It is a stain on the history of any nation who ens***ed fellow humans but it seems to me this curriculum is being taken out of context by many on the left. The curriculum was developed by two African American PhD s (I suppose they should be considered Oreo cookies or tools of w***e s*********ts).
I think the point as holocaust survivor, Victor Frankl, expressed in his book on the meaning of life can be discovered in three ways, by creating work or accomplishing some task, by experiencing something fully or loving somebody and by the attitude that one adopts towards unavoidable suffering. Perhaps some of this was the motivation for improving their dismal situation or maybe the motivation was to exploit their aptitude to gain more value than being a field worker. Why is demonstrating that people whose bodies were ens***ed could do as Frankl did by not allowing the s***e masters to fully control their minds or creativity or some semblance of self actualization?

You missed the point by a long distance. Read what I posted from the article and then read the article in the link.

A woman is raped and gives birth to a beautiful human she totally loves. You can say she "benefitted" from the rape and horrible crime against her personal Liberty, but that would be sugar coating a horrific circumstance. The horrors of the rape have to be given an equal storyline.

DeSantis was not the originator of that comment/thought - he was repeating text that those who created this year's version of a textbook had written in the text.

We were speaking of how one deals with ens***ement.

Analogy still relevant.
Only in that a horrific incident did spawn something positive. S***ery is horrific and your rape case is horrific but that doesn’t mean that everything in one’s life needs to be totally defined by the horrific event/existence. If it does in your example, you are going to put a lot of shrinks out of business.
