Beautiful. If you did not photograph it in a Botanical Garden but in the wild somewhere, do not tell where you found it. There are people who abuse that information and do not respect the endangered plants.

Thank you, but I did photograph them in a Botanical garden. There are mariposa lilies that are in the wild around. I see reports of them every year. Not this one, because this one isn't wild around here. But they are here. There are a lot of endangered plants, due to climate change but mostly habitat loss. Talking to the people that take care of the botanical garden, there is one clarkia that is found in one place in Marin County, and this garden. These guys go out to find the rare and endangered plants and try to get them here.
Of course, you still need a permit and a reason of what you are going to do with it. It does take a long time to get a permit, there is a lot of paperwork involved in handling these plants. Even for conservation
Thank you. I appreciate that

Nice pics!!
The Lilys are such interesting flowers. They have sexy naughty parts. LOL. I cannot recall seeing this one but I will keep a close eye out for it when hiking.

Thank you. They are one of my favorites.
The genus Calochortus includes approximately 70 species distributed from southwestern British Columbia, through California and Mexico, to northern Guatemala, and eastwards to New Mexico, Nebraska, and the Dakotas. Calochortus is the most widely dispersed genus of Liliaceae on the North American Pacific Coast. Of these, 28 species are endemic to California.
Pretty flower nicely shot TopCat

If I found this guy in the wild, I would not tell anyone where it is. There is too much destruction of rare and endangered plants going on. Climate change is destroying too many, we need to save the rest.
