I’ve had this model for several years now and am using it with the adapter on my EOS R camera and I feel it’s actually a bit sharper and focuses a bit faster. Fabulous lens.

I agree but I purchased the RF 100-500 and no longer need

You sound like me, I had the EF 100-400 ii lens too and sold it and got the RF 100-500 lens. They're both awesome lenses but that RF 100-500 lens is crazy sharp and works very well with the R5 and the R7 too. Hope you get your asking price, good luck!
