I'm not at all surprised that you responded to this post before anyone else after your last post about memories we all have. I spent a lot of time thinking about things after that post, and I looked at your work on Flickr. Wow, you are really good. I've been trying to put something together to post back to you, but I can't get it together in my brain. Those pictures of the horses in the pastures, are those your pastures? As soon as I saw a couple of them I thought about how often Carol talked about having a place with a porch to set on in the morning and watch the horses in the pastures running and playing. Another thing that caught my eye was a picture of that pineapple upside down cake like the ones she always made. I haven't had one of them in so long, and now I'm going to try and find a good recipe that I can ruin. You and your Husband must have really had a wonderful life together. I was sorry to hear about your lose of your Son also. You were right how good it is to run into someone who understands things that others talk about. We came very close to losing our Son at birth, and it bothered Carol for a long time worrying about him. If it's alright I will get that post finished that I told you about above, and send you a PM. Some memories that I need to talk about sometimes to someone that understands. Talk to you later. Robert

Thank you so much for the kind comments Robert. I am so thankful for my love of painting, playing the organ and photography. It keeps me busy, so I don't know the meaning of "lonely". There is no way to tell anyone how bad it hurt to lose your mate. I always say, the deeper you love, the harder you grieve. Of course, PM any time you please. I may have some easy, delicious recipes for you. It's hard to cook for one.
