Photoshop Beta Refine Edge Not Working Properly

Is anyone experiencing issues with the latest Photoshop Beta (24.7.0) regarding the Refine Edge feature? When I try to use it, the cursor stays an arrow instead of turning into an adjustable size circle with a + in the center. I also have regular Photoshop installed, and Refine Edge works normally for it. I'm not finding anything on the web about this. I haven't reached out to Adobe about it yet.

That’s why it’s a beta. And the purpose of the beta is for you to notify Adobe before it’s a regular production version.

Remember, it is the refine edge tool, not add to a selection tool, per se. It is a arrow, but it still works to refine an edge.

In regular PS, it turns to a tool with a + in the center, whose size can be adjusted. In PS Beta, it remains a cursor.

I'm having the same problem with the select and mask too. That's one of the problems with beta, sometimes when they improve one thing they screw up something else

Hmmm. . . . I just tried to post the bug from PS Beta. Got the bug report form, filled it out, pressed "Post," and nothing happened. I tried doing this 3 times.

Beta = test to see if it works or if YOU can screw it up, then report what you did!!!

Same here. Using the arrow in the same way (pretending the selection tool is visible) does nothing.
