Does anybody know how to take apart the new Neewer GM100 Carbon Fiber tripod gimbal? There are 2 videos on YouTube as to how to do it on their older model, but nothing in re the new Neewer GM100 Carbon Fiber tripod gimbal head. HELP!!!
Maybe the new version has been improved and does not need "regreasing" ! ??

I don't have a clue, I have Wimberly WH200 and it has been in constant use since Oct. 2009 and if anything it might need the swing arm lock snugged up a little.

Did you try removing the cap? The same bolts are probably located under the cap.

How much are you asking for it

Oh it's not for sale !! it gets used anytime I go out !! for everything but landscapes.
I purchased the Neewer heavy duty gimbal (product no. 10086839) 4 years ago and dissembled it, regreased it, and have been very happy with it. The GM100 (carbon fiber) and GM101 (aluminum alloy) appear to be of similar construction. There is a comment in the company’s website FAQ that states that the GM100 uses grease and can be disassembled and regreased. The GM101 does not use grease.
My suggestion is to contact Neewer. Their website includes an email option as well as phone numbers. Good luck—I hoped you get this sorted out.
