This time of year, I was cleaning and organizing my Camera Cabinet. I came across this old gem. It is a nice lens but the zoom ring broke. Actually, the little pins on the side of the first element set broke. The focus ring is fine. If I wanted to sell it, I probably would have to pay the buyer $10. So it really isn’t worth it. Perhaps I could turn it into a paperweight!

I have a friend that turned an old Nikon 300mm f2.8 into a doorstop.

Could be put in a sock for bashing intruders heads. It should make pretty nice sounds

See if you can hollow it out and put something inside to make it into a mug. That should keep you busy for a few hours. I have a similar old lens that no one wants. Let me know how your lens conversion works out, and I might convert mine. 😁
