I'm sorry to say that I fell for a couple of phony headlines that Kevin Costner had been killed in an automobile accident. I couldn't believe it and chose to investigate further by, you guessed it, clicking on more click bait. All of the posts started out by stating his birthdate and birthplace but none of them included his date of passing. The bottom line is that he is still with us but this kind of posting pisses me off to no end. It is difficult for me to imagine to what depths of depravity people will go to get some attention. I'm ashamed of myself for being suckered in but the video creators of this kind of nonsense should be ashamed for having to resort to fraudulent statements just to get attention. What say you?

I hate them!
There are four forums on Facebook that I check a couple of times a day for that crap, reporting to the forum admin when they show up. Others are about Jolie and comfy shoes..... They seem to go in spurts, and they are almost always a new FB user.

This is where Web sites like Snopes come in handy. To fall prey to one of these scummy sites is nothing to be ashamed of because they are experts on knowing how to suck innocent people in and other than social normative values lying is not against the law. It should be but it isn't. If there is a hell then I hope they spend eternity having to click through an endless string of what they subject us to.
