Following my previous post and some well-thought out critique by various folk, I've put together this slightly different pose of the lady and completed the rest of the image using inspiration from the painting by Rosetti. If you're interested and don't know the painting it's worth a quick Google search, he was one of the original Brotherhood.
All my images but the light ray and smoke brush are by Nucly.

Dave I think you did Rossetti proud. And in addition you also corrected that hand issue which was pointed out by several viewers. Nicely done.

Thanks Frank. Opening up the pose helped a lot - even Rossetti had problems with the hand, I would let him know the solution if he was around!!

Thanks Joe. Yes, some of those pre-Raphaelite models were certainly stunners - I reckon Connie (our model) is well up with them in looks but loses a couple of mars for a lack of height!

Thanks Jack. The pomegranate is an essential part of the lady’s story apparently, she ate a single seed of it and was condemned to spend six months of the year in Hades.

You certainly know art and mythology! I like your model better than the original and don’t care she doesn’t have the height. Great job. You surely know your stuff!
