As I was photographing my neighborhood squirrels, this little beauty came unto the scene. Being a cat lover, I naturally switched over until someone suddenly came through with a dog. Unfortunately, I didn't catch those shots! The same person returned with a can of chicken for the cat and told me it was, sadly, a feral. So often in apartments, cats are abandoned. Won't tell you what I'd like to do with those owners!
Just beginning with a new camera, so these aren't perfect as I have lots to learn! I couldn't resist, however, sharing these because of the expressions.

Nice photos of that beautiful kitty!! I’m glad someone is looking out for him.
I would gladly help you with the owners. We could take turns having a “conversation” with them. They certainly don’t deserve to have such wonderful creatures in their lives.
I hope someone will take the time and effort to give that kitty a loving home.

I appreciate your sentiment. As I understand from the brief conversation with the neighbor, this cat has been around for over a year. This is the first time; however, I have seen it. She said a while back, one apartment had 18 cats, and they were evicted.
It's a sad situation, and this complex hates cats! My cat is a former feral that I rescued before they captured her. Hopefully, someone will adopt it as it is very friendly.

Believe me, I have something unpleasant in mind. Using conversation in quotes was my way of being delicate about it while plotting all the ways to hurt them....painfully...and slowly.

I hear you! I said something similar to the neighbor. I want to take them and dump them somewhere really bad with nothing! I don't understand those types of people.
Nice photos of that pretty kitty!
The words "having a conversation with people who abuse animals" are often used because "breaking every bone in their body" is illegal (unfortunately).

Thanks for the feedback. I agree with your comments. I saw the kitty again today. Breaking my heart as it is so friendly and is now coming to me. So thin and has fleas. I wish I could adopt, but my kitty would never tolerate that.

Yes, I agree. Beautiful sweet kitty. I now have some kibble in my pack and nuts for the squirrels. I have to be careful because the apartment complex hates cats, and they can be very mean about them!
