Cold and Wet in July

We wanted to do and scheduled a whale watching trip this past week in the St Lawrence Seaway from Tadoussac, Quebec....we did, unfortunately it was 54 degrees, 20+ knots of wind and horizontal light rain...Hey, it was the middle of July, how bad could it be... Well, we went anyway. At least we were on a large boat and still pretty darn cold and wet, the tours that were on the RIB's really took a beating and a lot of water. However, we did see some whales, blows, many in the distance and difficult to approach but did get close enough to one to grab a few photos, thankfully.

Then the captain made a tour of the much calmer Saguenay Fiord, one of the longest fiords in the world and a beautiful body of water and escarpments. Best in download and Cheers, all.
