River Bottom sans fog

A similar shot as the Fog Anyone post but better light and bit more retouching with Apple's native editor.

The owner of this plot burned the field to the left of the bump at the end of the road. The no trespassing sign aside, burnt ground is generally not pretty and it wouldn't have added anything to the scene.

I like the edits on this one better but it seems to lack something without the fog. What say you?

Thanks Mike, I thought about taking out some of the road in the foreground but there are some interesting patterns there too because of a recent rainstorm.

I love it because of all the wonderful textures, but personally (only me), I would shorten the road in the foreground due to my preference to just enjoy the lovely scenery you've shown ✨💚💙💚✨

Joe, do you have your glasses on?

Thank you for the kind words but we live in one of the butt-ugliest areas in southeastern Colorado. I should not complain, and I appreciate the fact that you were able to see something pretty in it. It's a chore sometimes.

As mentioned, I did think about cutting off some of that road and it is still a possibiliy but there was a rivulet a few feet in that should stay. However, if you would like to alter the image, I am not emotionally tied to this rendition. Feel free to express your inner artiste.

Interesting shot, Mike. I generally shoot horizontally but, in this case, the verticality adds something to it.

Thanks Mel, there were things on both sides that would not have added to the scene.

Thank you as well.

If you haven't already, check out the first post with the fog at the bottom, I liked that one even better.
