O Solo Mio....

...October 4th, 2016. Wooden sculpture(s) on the grounds of a 'Farm Store' my buddy Bo took me to in the outskirts of the town of Easthampton, Mass. No --or very little (or none that anyone would notice)-- "AI" was employed in my recent (re-)processing of these shots.

Admittedly, however, the 'O Solo Mio'-ness (as claimed in the title) is not entirely accurate. Appearance and reality can be like that sometimes.

So: O Duo Them-O?

Naah. Sounds pretty discordant to me. Sort of like how a guitar and a horn might sound when played together. Unless they were played jusssst right together, y'know? Sort of like how a raw image and whatever gets made of it is done jussst right.

Shown in the order in which I shot them.

Well, I have to admit, I didn't recognize them as Canys when I first saw them. But I clicked on them for a better look. I don't do that unless I like them and I'm glad I did.
When I realized they were yours I was surprised that they were not focus stacked. But then I looked at the lead in again. 2016.

Oh cripse, Cheep, I've been focus stacking since I first learned about it back during the Pleistocene of the film days. A regionally semi-"famous" 'bird' [who in his otherwise, non-'regionally fotografficly famous', workaday life was a machinist in Brooklyn Ny] fotogriffer introduced me to the process 40 years ago. Needless to say, focus stacking was a little trickier back then, what with having to make entirely NON-digital analogue masks and what-not, and having to employ them while shooting and/or variously in the darkroom processes, but doing so was a hoot just the same.

Hardware, software, wicked-ware, whatever suits the vizzion. Helps having some vission in the first place, though. Or so they tell me.

Maybe that's my problem...NO vission! And I call it wicked-ware
