Is anyone else having a problem updating Z6 firmware to 3.60?

I have the firmware 3.60 uploaded to the memorycard but in my camera it can not show it in its display and therefor there is nothing to update - BUT NOW ✨ I forgot to unpack the folder now is the single bin-file uploaded to the card and the could read it and the camera is updated

It has to be on the primary card. If it's on the SD card and the CFE is primary, the camera won't see it. If thats your situation, there should be a menu choice that lets you make the SD card primary. Be sure to put it back when you are through.

The Z6 only has one card, XQD or CFexpress.

Having read this thread and seeing some were having problems I decided to update my Z6, although the update is only applicable if you use a certain grip.
Glad I did, because I found that I had left a card in the card reader that should have been in my Z8!

When I do update a camera with 2 card slots, instead of going to the menu and changing things, I just remove the second card.

Yes...I think I read where you mentioned that a couple of days ago. That is a really good idea. Just haven't had opportunity to adjust my ingrained habits yet.
