From a online website called LiveScience. At that price gotta do it 👹👹.
This is for Paul as at times he appears to promote this company in some of his posts. We all whom are knowledgeable about Abe’s know that Paul is being basically satirical. However I often wonder how a newbie to the Hog will look at it???
I think one should be careful of what they post, even the ample use of emojis to illustrate the true meaning would be helpful. Just my thought 😜😘😘.
“The EOS R5 features in our list of best cameras for wildlife photography and its lower-megapixel brother, the EOS R8, made our best camera for astrophotography guide. The EOS R5 is powerful but easy to use and you'd be hard pressed to go wrong with it, especially at this price. It's currently down to just $2,845 at Abes of Maine.”

The EOS R5 changed how we think about mirrorless cameras, how we think about photography, how we think about life. The others, not so much.

Yes, probably most of us amateurs drool when we think about mirrorless. To me doesn’t much care what system, be it Canon, Nikon, Sony or others. It’s the system that is most important. I have a good friend who has one of the latest Canon’s and what he does with it and his results are unbelievable. But not all us joes out here can or will ever go mirrorless due to costs ( especially high here in Canada ). For example I’m into my 80th decade on a fixed income ( fixed by the Government ). No way in hell l can afford a mirrorless, even the most low cost one. I presently operate a Canon 90D with a 100-400 mk2 lens. Other than a kit 50 tis my only lens. Outfit cost me over 5 grand a copla years ago. Took me 10 years of painful scrounging to get it. Fraid I don’t have another 10 years to do it all over again.
I truly enjoy your postings Paul, both in pictures and word. Your a damn fine photographer (picture taker 😬😬) and story teller. However like I said in my original post be careful that some of your satirical comments may be taken seriously by new members on the Hog. Just saying!!!

WOW!
80 decades!
Can we call you Methuselah?
Were you there for the signing of the Magna Carta?
You’re even older than I am.
Have a look at Abe's of Maine if you really want low prices.

Whoops, gotta take the 0 off. Although just finished cutting my 2 lawns so at this moment I kinda feel like old Methuselah. But a wee shot of single malt should fix everything.

Come on Paul, ya gotta do better than that. Tis the exact same phrase you used bout 4 months ago. Considering your the “Master of Quips” I would expect an original, not a poor repeat.
I wonder how you would feel and if a new young photographer did purchase a camera from Abe’s using your apparent recommendation and got screwed. Not a nice thought, right.
LittleRed (Ron)
The longer you read UHH, the more expensive it gets.

And now the Z9 and Z8 has taken the EOS R5's place as to how we think about mirrorless... and so on and so on. ;)

Abe's uses low pricing as bait. The store undoubtedly bags more than their limit each and every day... funny the store stays in business with all of the bad reports.

He has a file of these “quips” on his desktop to readily cut and paste. He reuses them all the time.

You do not need an expensive latest and greatest camera to take good pictures. I am like you, use what you have.
