Some of the best hummer photos I seen
Outstanding. How long a lens are you using and share with us your technique. I have one who chases all the the others away and is very skittish.

Without getting into much detail on individual images, which would challenge my memory, I'll provide a general over view.
Many of my images were taken some time ago, mostly last year and the prior year. I am not seeing as many birds this year for some reason.
My current camera is the A1; prior to that I used the A92 and A7R4, respectively with some overlap. I am still processing images from all three cameras. Although the A7R4 has the best IQ it is also prone to rolling shutter which ruins many images.
The lens I use the most is the 100-400, 5.6. I also use the 70-200, 2.8 and going back further the 135, 1.8. Available light and distance mostly determines which lens I use. I sold the 135 some time ago, it tended to be too short, although it is a magnificent lens.
I shoot a lot, discard nearly all of it and process what remains. My primary editor is Capture One, supplemented with Topaz and Adobe CS6. Just about all my bird images are heavily cropped.
