The light was pretty good this afternoon and our flowers are blooming. Here’s a few, taken with the iPhone 13 Pro Max.
Your first one looks as good as any example of Z9's that folks have purchased and have showed off here. Are there any advantages of the 13 over the 14? It seems that I heard that. I don't recall what the difference was. Less megapixels and easier to upload to the computer? As the owner of a 6 I'm in the market for a 13, 14 or wait for a 15. What would you suggest. This 13 of yours seems like a good fit for me.
Beautiful set, Greg! It took a while to get there, but the wait was worth it.

Thank you for the encouraging comments. I’m very pleased with the iPhone 13 Pro Max. If you can find a new one still available, go for it. Apple may still have some in stock. The iPhone 14 Pro Max will cost a bit more, but is has some advantages, such as more pixel density, and there are a few other things that might make it a better choice. I’m holding out to see if the 15 offers enough over the 13 to lure me away. Each edition offers more and more features as well as upgraded versions of the current ones. I’m using my iPhone more and more and my regular cameras less and less. The only shortcoming I see is a lack of depth of field control, so often an image shows more in focus than you want. Fortunately, there is some manual control over the aperture built into the camera, and there are some apps out there that give you almost full manual control. Not quite, but almost. Again, thank you for your comments. Much appreciated.

Thanks, Mike. I agree, the wait was worth it, and finally we’re having a mostly sunny day, so I expect , more will be popping open soon. My next target is the fireweed, but I have to go a ways to get to some that doesn’t include a fence or wall in the photo.
Great shots! Love those colors. Thanks for stating what model Smartphone you are using.

Thank you. I figure it’s good to show which smartphone you’re using because it gives others a comparison between the different brands and models.

Thank you, Bill. I appreciate your comments and encouragement.
I like to encourage folks to use or visit the smartphone photography section. It’s a great place to share, especially for those whom their smartphone is their only camera. It lets people know that smartphones can take some very nice images.
