Murphy Struck

Several days ago I was at an in-home jam session with my camera. Even though I put my camera bag out of the way, a guest managed to drop a can of beer in it. Fortunately no cameras or lenses were in it. However there were at least 8 batteries, lens cleaning items and much more. I brought it home and left everything out in the garage to air out after wiping all down. But I immediately came down with bronchitis, so the items stayed there.

Yesterday we had a cleaning service come in. YOU GUESSED IT! Bag and all contents went in the garbage which was taken out and picked up before I caught it.

Hate that Murphy!

Talk to cleaning service about replacing items or just forget about it

You should know by now that playing music and drinking beer do not go together. 🤣

That sounds like a scene from a TV comedy, although I guess you didn't laugh very much. Seemingly impossible things like that happen on a daily basis. It's Nature's way of keeping us humble. "The best laid plans of mice and men..."

No one else was drinking alcohol. The guy is a lovable rebel.

Being a victim of Murphy is not as bad as winning a Darwin Award.

Always something to be thankful for. Be glad no cameras were in it. I miss our friend Jerry Overcast.

You are fortunate, you have a home with a garage and have a cleaning service come in.

Look at the money we have invested in photography and think what people would do with that cash if they had that to improve their lives.
We are truly fortunate

I 've used Quicken for decades, and it's scary to see how much I've spent on Cameras, computers, clothing, food - anything. Over a period of thirty years, totals add up. On the other hand, I see that I've gotten $14,865 n rebates.
