Final Clayton Museum boats. I once owned a Class B outboard Hydro with a borrowed (from a friend) 7.5 hp Mercury with a Quicksilver lower unit with open exhaust. Played with it on local lakes but never ran in competition
I had a girl friend in high school who raced those things
I thought seriously about racing mine until I had a conversation with an ex-racer, now mechanic, who asked if I would like to see something before making a decision to be a racer. He then lifted up his shirt to expose his back which was a mass of propeller inflicted scar tissue . That ended any dream of becoming a racer!

Even looks fast standing still 💙💙🌀💙💙
Good one FL Streetrodder. I usually shoot the Bradenton Regatta every year. I think it is held in February. If I not mistaken they are class F2 and F3 boats. They can hit top speeds of 125 MPH.
