Nikon HN-21 52mm Screw-on Lens Hood w/ 62mm snap-on Hood Cap
Weight with Nikon HN-21 Hood 534 grams (Sans Front & Mount Caps)
Pro-Master 52mm Lens Cap
Nikon F-Mount Lens Cap
Custom Soft Case

Legendary, elegant, petite, and agile with superb optics.
Galen Rowell used this renowned Constant Aperture 2x Nikon Zoom lens to capture his iconic Rainbow over the Dalai Lama's Potala Palace in Tibet circa 1981 (See Below).

Needless to say this Nikon Ai-s 75mm-150mm excels in the Landscape genre as Galen Rowell has so amazingly illustrated. Please Look at imagery captured on my serendipitous wanderings through the breathtakingly beautiful Sallie Mae Gardens in Reston, VA.

It's also likely one of the most iconic Portraiture Lens Nikon has made available in a cost effective package. Again please download my Studio captures made at both ends of it's focal range from precisely the same exact location/distance.

For those who want an opportunity to enjoy one of Nikon's finest E-Series Zoom Lens for the Same Price of a Nikon 52mm NC Filter Please don't pass this lens by... it still has many more epic images to provide for those who will take the time to master it's subtle nuances.

Note: I've rehabbed this lens to eliminate the dreaded "Loose Zoom" by insertion of an 8.5 mils (0.216mm) shim on the lens tube. This shim is virtually invisible except under magnification. All images posted were taken with this "Shimmed" Zoom lens.

The lens comes with a 14 day (from date of delivery) No Hassle refund guarantee (You pay shipping both ways)

Any questions please respond in this thread or PM me...
Cheers! Thomas

As for price point? I have to exceed my competition... Robert's is one of the most crediable players I'm up against. I've purchased from them before... they are highly accurate in assessment/evaluations (and provide OBO)

Would this lens work on an old Nikon F or Nikkormat? If so, I would be interested in it assuming it has not been sold.

kelso007 this 42 year old Nikon Lens doesn't a "feeler" prong i.e. "metering fork" used to send information about the aperture setting from the lens to the camera on older camera models. The camera would have a pin that fits in the fork, so that turning the aperture ring moves the pin on a Nikon F or Nikkormat.

This Ai-s 75-150mm f/3.5 is a Series E Nikon Lens (Nikon refused to call it a Nikkor Lens) which are Nikon's best "Glass" The Series E Nikon Lens were released to compete with the increasing number of second party lens that was beginning to affect Nikon's "Bottom Line"

My best advice is to look for only Nikkors for those earlier Nikon Bodies. While the lens would mount you will not have access to the full suite of exposure information a Nikkor Lens yields on earlier Nikon Bodies. That said the lens works fabulous on my Nikon D3; D3x; D610; D700; D800; D800e; D7100; D7200. Albeit only when you enter the each lens data into the Non-CPU Lens info on each of those cameras to yield aperture; FL etc information... The only caveat is it only works for a single Focal Length (newer Nikon Bodies allow Two Focal Lengths) making it ideal for primes but not so much for Zoom optics on all but the newest Nikon Bodies.

Yes it will mount on a Nikon Z body with a Z adapter but it's manual focus only then

Hope this helps... Yes it is confusing... so please do your research carefully.
The cameras I listed above I've verified... I can not comment on other Nikon Bodies... Sorry

I hope he was kidding!
The time and effort you have put into this posting is truly incredible.
I have seen shorter, sloppier, (lazy) attempts to market gear costing thousands of dollars. I love the the "pictures will be posted later when I have time". Of course, eBay can even be worse.
The UHH (Nikon) community should be quite grateful to have you as a member.
Have a Happy 4th Thomas.

Thank you for the information. The Nikon F and Nikkormat that I have do not have functioning metering systems so I would not need the fork coupling. I use an old Gossen meter for exposure. I do most of my photography with a Nikon Z6ii but use only Z lenses. I collect some of the older film cameras and use them for b&w shots which is why I am interested in your lens.

Thanks for the information. Very helpful. The Nikon F and Nikkormat that I have do not have working metering systems so I was looking at your lens to experiment with using off camera metering.

I have collected a few “old school” film cameras and enjoy shooting black & white film with them. Most of my photography is with a Nikon Z 6 ii but I just can’t completely give up on the film cameras. Please let me know if the lens is still available.

The listing information and pictures alone were worth the purchase price. I always love looking at Thomas's listings--and I usually regret not having seen them earlier to take advantage of what he is offering.

Thank you so much for your very kind words and continued support Richard... They are truly appreciated!
btw, Two images in this post were made with the Nikon D7100 camera you now own (Sallie Mae Gardens Fountain).
I loved that D7100 DX camera, it's dynamic range was a vast improvement over Nikon's other DX offerings.
Trust your daughter enjoyed using it on your recent trip to Jackson Hole... I found it to be a perfect match for this vintage Ai-s 75-150mm f/3.5

Wishing you and your family much joy and happiness on your photographic journeys together...
Cheers! Thomas
