And Californians wonder why many of us want the state to slide off into the ocean.

While I am a Canon user, I read this link and I'm not sure what the big deal is. All my "cloud based" services have terms that promise (if they can be believed) not to use any information gathered from the storage of data for any purpose not specifically approved by the user. Perhaps Nikon's service does not have such clauses.

I'm, not happy to see government get involved, but perhaps it was necessary to Nikon to insure privacy.

I'd be curious to hear what Nikon says about this!

Yes.

I just hope they don't try to make the place they go just like the place they've been.

You mean the largest economy in the country and on track to replace Germany as the 4th largest in the world? No, I sure wouldn't want that either...

No, I was thinking rules, regulations, and a few other things.....
Their "economy" does not interest me.

My feelings exactly! Every time you turn around they come out with some new hokey, pokey rule or regulation.

Google California Porp 65 to see just how nasty California can be.
If you're familiar with the little warnings on most products today, Prop 65 is why.

Yeah, protection is over-rated. No one cares about their personal information being stolen and sold. We have to trust big corporations. They have made America the country that it is. 🤣
