Eastern bluebird - family dynamics

Bluebirds are very active in my backyard this year (compared to past years).
Not sure what is going on in the pics below, but my guesses are:
1. Kiddo gets into a heated argument with dad, gets a time out.
2. Kiddo is asking for food and gets none.
Either way, kiddo looks mad.
