I am the Queen Mum of a Red Hatter's group. We usually meet once a month and do various things. This month we went to the NC Zoo. Took a picnic lunch and ate at one of their shelters before going in to see all the beautiful animals. Don't have many good pictures of this outing because I forgot to take my camera. I took a few with my phone but didn't even think to do that until we were almost through. I am supposed to be getting some from some of the ladies who did take their camera.

Next month we're going to a Culinary School at a Community Collage for a five course meal made for us by the students. Sometimes we just go out to a nice restaurant for a meal together. And lots of times we play games and have prizes and just really do whatever we want to since that's what the Red Hatter's is all about. We've raised our families, done our charity work, cared for everyone else before ourselves and so now we're treating ourselves to whatever we fancy to. Enjoy the pictures!

Thank you and yes we do have fun! That's what it's all about. And you don't have to wait until you're 50. We have some under who are Pink Hatter's. When they turn 50 we have a Reduation Ceremony and they are presented with their first red hat and lots of other red and purple accessories from their fellow red hatter's. They have an oath they have to take and they all have royal titles. We have a Baroness Happy Girl, Princess Sunshine, Duchess of Delight, Duchess of Accounting (who keeps an account of all misbehaving.) Also the Grand Duchess of Delectable Desserts, Princess Hoochie Mama, Duchess Sargent-in-Gloves (Ensures Proper Behavior). We have a Mistress of Mischief, Lady of Dancing, Gracious Lady, Countess of Camping, Damsel Shop til You Drop, Princess Shutterbug, Princess Red Snapper, Diva of Decor, Lady at Arms and Princess REDly & Waiting. Everyone got to choose their own title. Some really cute ones, I thought. :XD: Our colors are Red & Purple for Red Hatters and Pink & Lavendar for Pink Hatters.
