I recently returned. from a trip to Barrow Alaska. Interesting adventure. The birds of the tundra are pretty amazing and I will have others to share. But, saving the best for the first, I thought I would share the Spectacle Eider as a prelim of more to come. One of my favorite shots. Sony A1, 600mm = 1.4X (840 mm0, 1/5000 (ready for flight), F/5,6. although I love the Sony converters, I am leaning on leaving them off for better IQ and better focusing.
