Black and White Photography
B&W in IR

I like B&W images. But I really like B&W images created by IR modified cameras. I find the results to be more interesting to look at, even when the subject is boring. And they capture my attention.

Here are a couple to illustrate my point. First image is using a 720nm filter. I like how the leaves become white and the sky black.

Second image is 590nm filter. Tree has no leaves. But in the background, there are leaves.

Hi Jim, I haven't seen a lot of IR shots....but the effect is interesting....and nicely done
