A Day Around the House....
So, I started the day by walking my dog with an Old Canon FL lens on the camera and got a couple of shots of Rododendrom blooms and then came home and was shooting Hummers from my back deck when an unexpected visitor dropped by.
Shellback
Loc: North of Cheyenne Bottoms Wetlands - Kansas
Nice captures of the humming bird -
The visitor appears to be interested in your photography skills
Well done...

Good photography is composed of (1) Planning (2) skill (3) Luck. The proportions can vary .
Nice shots--I especially liked the first H-bird pic. Regarding the last visitor, remember, don't feed those critters, especially by hand. Don't know where in NC you live; my daughter had a small farm in Hayesville for a while. Beautiful country.
Great set, hummers are really nicely captured, bear would suggest to me I carry my .44 mag when ever I sit outside. Man killed by a Black Bear while sitting outside drinking a cup or coffee.

I certainly don't want to tangle with a bear because there is no doubt who would win that fight but this was a very small bear, I caught her inside my screened deck a few weeks back and here she has returned. I took a few pics and then slammed my hand down on the deck rail while yelling "hey" and she left immediately.
Thanks everyone for your kind comments, I appreciate your taking the time to view and comment.

They are not usually aggressive so that might happen only if he likes the coffee you are drinking.

I didn't want to say anything because I did not want to start a back and forth, but I agree with you that they are normally not aggressive however a teenage girl was mauled by a black bear while sleeping in a hammock two years ago in this area. The good news is that this was a very small bear most likely its first season away from its mom, hardly much larger than my dog and when I made noise it immediately left the area.
