An old barn ...
... nearing its end.
As I was walking around shooting this old barn, an elderly man pulled onto the property, got out of his truck and approached me. He watched me and saw my camera, but he never asked me anything. He was focusing on the barn. So, I said "hello." Then he said, he was 81 years old, and that he used to attend barn dances in this old barn in the late 1960s, and the early to mid 1970s. He looked at the barn for another few seconds, then turned to leave. I asked him if he had anything else he could tell me about the barn, but he just kept walking away. Then he said, "That's all I remember." I got the feeling that it was probably all he wanted to remember. It was likely a much happier time for him back in the 60s and 70s.
Interesting. Well done image.

That is a great photo. It is too bad he did not want to reminisce. I bet he had a lot of stories to tell.
Really like the barn and time of day with the clouds was just right! You done good!
Thanks for the smile, Architect.

Thank you very much, JustJill. Yes, I think I could have listened to him for hours. I felt there was a sadness there that he wasn't willing to share.
